About Wine-Searcher Staff Writers

Staff Writers

Don Kavanagh Don Kavanagh - Wine-Searcher's editor - has spent the past 25 years either working in the wine trade or writing about it, in his native Ireland, the UK, and New Zealand. At various times a wine merchant, bartender, moonshiner, magazine editor and news journalist, Wine-Searcher provides the perfect opportunity to combine his two great passions.
W. Blake Gray W. Blake Gray - Wine-Searcher's US Editor - was the 2013 winner of the Roederer Award for Best Online Wine Writer in the world. He has previously been Wine Editor for the San Francisco Chronicle and Food Editor for SF Weekly, and has been writing about wine professionally for more than a decade. Blake would also like you to know he was into zombie movies before everybody jumped on the bandwagon.
Tom Jarvis Tom Jarvis has worked in the wine trade since the late 1990s. In 2009 he helped set up the boutique London wine merchant Bottle Apostle, and worked there until 2013. He then moved to New Zealand, completing the Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Enology at Lincoln University (NZ) in 2013, adding to his WSET Diploma. He joined Wine-Searcher in 2015, where his role includes updating and expanding our encyclopedia, and contributing to our News and Features section.

Natalie Sellers Natalie Sellers spent her early years with various UK drinks companies and publications, learning about the trade in a range of roles. With itchy feet fast setting in, Nat took the plunge and made the move to the other side of the world where she found and joined Wine-Searcher in 2015. After initially working solely on our database, she now also contributes to the News and Features section.
